Kolymbia beach

Kolymbia beach is located 28 minutes from the centre of Rhodes and 26 km south east of Rhodes Town. It is a peaceful sandy pebble beach with crystal-clear waters. The beach is well organised with parasols, sunbeds, watersports and café-bars, tavernas and many accommodation facilities located nearby.

Acropolis of Lindos

The beautiful Acropolis of Lindos, surrounded by the blue sea, lies close the traditional settlement of Lindos. The city was founded in the 8th century BC and evolved into a major trading center. This great place of history is also worth visiting for its magnificent views of the island.

Filerimos Hill

Acropolis of Ialyssos Filerimos, a verdant hill offering panoramic views of the turquoise Aegean waters, is the perfect location for a long walk in the Rhodian nature. The upper part of Filerimos is a large plateau which includes an archaeological site, an Early Christian Church and a Byzantine Church.

Aquarium (Hydrobiological Station) of Rhodes

The Hydrobiological Station of Rhodes, located at the northernmost tip of the island, began its operation in 1963. Today it houses an aquarium and a museum of Mediterranean marine organisms and oceanographic instruments. The Station is also famous for its unique architectural style.

Archaeological Museum of Rhodes

The Archaeological museum is housed in the medieval Hospital of the Knights, and exhibits artefacts dating from the ancient Greek to the Knights’ period. The museum’s highlight is the Aphrodite of Rhodes statue.

Kallithea Beach

The Deer of Rhodes

The deer of Rhodes is considered to be the symbol of the island. In the entrance of Mandraki harbor you will see both bronze sculptures of the male deer on one side and the female deer on the other side of the port.

Traounou Beach

Kiotari Beach

The long sandy pebble beach of Kiotari lies in front of a tourist resort of the same name, 60 km from the town of Rhodes. It is a fully organised beach with sunbeds and parasols. Watersports facilities are also available. Kiotari beach is awarded with the Blue Flag.
