Α. OUR CANCELLATION POLICY

Given the unprecedented disruption to the travel and hospitality industry, our hotels & resorts all over Greece are postponing their opening, with a view to ensuring the health and safety of our guests and staff. Please read below how you can adapt your travel plans with us:

  1. On April 13th 2020, the Greek Government intervened in the tourism sector in order to alleviate the negative effects of COVID-19. The new law provides that all advanced payment of bookings cancelled from 25.02.2020 until 30.09.2020 due to COVID-19, shall not be returned but a voucher with value for 18 months will be issued instead.
  2. Within this period of 18 months, you may use this voucher by making a booking for accommodation services in any of our hotels.
  3. All direct refundable or non-refundable bookings for the season 2020 can be modified without penalty for future travel through season 2020 or 2021.
  4. All refundable or non-refundable bookings for the season 2020 made through other platforms/travel agencies should get in touch with the respective platform in order to modify their reservation or get the voucher.
  5. For new reservations as of today, flexible cancellation policy changes to 50% fee for cancellations 7 days prior to arrival and 100% fee for cancellations 3 days prior to arrival.

Covid our top priority your safety

Considering the health and safety of our guests and staff as our top priority, Lutania Beach, in consultation with the guidelines and recommendations of the World Health Organization, the Greek Ministries of Health and Tourism and local authorities, have devised and put to implementation an integrated Health and Safety plan foreseeing all measures, specifications and procedures across all hotel departments to address the new COVID-19 and any disease that can be transmitted in the community. Management and all staff members are committed to provide not only a carefree and safe stay to our guests.

 

Public Areas
Increased cleaning and disinfection across all high-volume touchpoints and all exposed surfaces. Health stations placed throughout the hotel, including wipes and sanitizers. Education of guests on how to take the necessary precautions. Simple and fast check-in/check-out procedures. Contactless payment of taxes and other services at the Reception. Alcohol-based hand rub, soap, and tissues available in every restroom.

 

Guest Rooms
Deep cleaning and disinfection in all guest rooms and bathrooms. Specific sanitation consideration on all high-touch guest room areas using a propriate disinfectant. Unused disposable items are discarded, bed linen from customer rooms that may be contaminated will be kept in separate labeled bags and washed at temperatures of 60-90 degrees, all furniture made out of fabric disinfected with steam cleaners and disinfectants, while rooms will be ventilated after evacuation.

 

Dining
High standards of food safety and hygiene, as well as strict personal hygiene policies for our team members will be followed. All restaurants’ surfaces & furniture will be disinfected after each service and the tables will be cleaned and disinfected after each sitting. Breakfast – Lunch – Dinner  hours are extended to allow ample time for the seating of guests. Seating capacity will be reduced, and tables will be arranged to allow proper social distances.

 

Swimming pools
Disinfection of lounge chairs and sitting areas will take place after each sitting. The lounge chairs around the swimming pool will be in-group of 2 and at least 2 meters away from each other. Meticulous observance and supervision of established procedures, frequent recirculation time of the water at least every 4 hours, frequent chlorine measurements to control its levels, water change, pH control, etc.

 

Hand hygiene
Alcohol- based hand sanitizers will be available for guests and employees in different areas throughout the hotels. Such areas include the hotel entrance, the reception, the lobby, the corridors, the food and beverage outlets, the Kids Clubs, the Pool and Spa areas etc.

 

Air-conditioning & ventilation
All air conditions (split units) in the rooms and public areas are safe to operate. Our hotels’ central ventilation system is maintained to continuous operation with fresh air regarding the latest legislation rules. The circulation of fresh air similarly does not pose any problem to guests’ health and safety.

 

Social Distancing
Social distancing actions will include limiting large groups of people coming together.Signs at the hotel’s public areas will remind our guests to maintain social distancing of at least 1,5m. To ensure proper distancing, our hotel will operate at low occupancy.

 

Hotel response teams & training
Our hotel will be armed with an internal Response Team, including a member from every department, responsible for keeping a pulse on hotel operations. All personnel have received extensive ongoing training on Health & Safety measures to provide a carefree and safe stay to our guests, implementing the POSI (Prevent of Spread of Infection) guide and all procedures and preventive measures.

A comprehensive awareness campaign is rolling out in our hotel, with health & safety measure signs throughout the facilities describing ways to prevent the spread of germs.

What if my flight is cancelled and there is no other available flight in the future?

If you book directly with us or through the hotel’s Reservations (noting the reservation number of the cancelled reservation), you may modify your reservation without penalty for future travel through season 2020 or 2021. Otherwise, you may cancel your reservation.

The Greek Government has enacted legislation providing a wide range of means, necessary to guarantee the protection of health and safety of the population. In this respect, people with COVID 19 are submitted to clinical and laboratory medical examination, health monitoring, medication and treatment, particularly in cases when the competent medical authorities have reasonable suspicions that they may transmit directly or indirectly the disease.

In addition, the competent health authorities may impose temporary restriction of persons under COVID-19 conditions, preventing contact with third parties, to avoid transmission (or spread) of the disease. The measure of temporary restriction may be implemented in a suitable hospital, health structure, treatment area, institution, in appropriate public or private temporary facilities, accommodation, or even at home. Such measures, if decided by the competent administrative authorities are obligatory for both the hotel and its guests.
